While you can tag people in photos and status updates, you can also tag your friends in comments as well. However, there are many people who have problems tagging their friends in the comment section of a status or a photo. This post will teach users step by step on how to tag someone in a Facebook comment. There are actually two ways to go about this.
The first method is the classic method which is by using the “@” symbol. All you have to do is click on the comment bar and type in the “@” symbol followed by your friend’s name. When you do that, there will be a drop down bar that will allow you to tag your friend in that comment. Just click on your friend’s name and you can tag him.
The second way is to simply type in the name of your friend. Remember to capitalize the first letter of your friend’s name; otherwise, his name will not appear. Once you do this, the drop down menu will appear and you can select the name of your friend. After that, your friend will automatically be notified that he has been tagged in your comment, and he can view it when he clicks on the original post. If the drop down bar does not appear even if you type in your friend’s name with the first letter capitalized, just keep on trying until it does.
